Copying a referral link is not sending it

Copying puts a URL on your clipboard. A send is a unique friend opening that URL and tapping Get my link. Until that happens, the board does not move. Paste the full link into a conversation with a specific person and ask them to tap Get my link.
Why does this trip people up?
Many contest sites treat a copy, a share-button press or a visit as proof that you shared. That is easy to fake, so those boards fill up with numbers that mean nothing. ViralRefer only counts what a real person does on the other end: they open your link and tap Get my link.
The result is that a lot of people copy their link, feel like they shared, and wonder why nothing changed. The link is still sitting on their clipboard.
What does a real send look like?
- You paste the full /r/ link into a conversation with a specific person.
- You add one sentence saying what it is and what you are asking.
- They open it on their own device.
- They tap Get my link.
Example message: "I'm in a no-signup homepage race. You only count for me if you tap Get my link. Want to try?" Then paste your link on its own line.
Which apps work best for sending?
- WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, SMS: best for one person or a small group that already chats.
