Why visits don't count

A ViralRefer credit is not a page view. Someone must open your unique link and tap Get my link. That is the whole product. Visits can be bought in bulk, so they never move the board. Copies, refreshes and taps on your own link do not count either.
Why can visits not decide rank?
If a stranger can buy thousands of visits and look like they are winning, the race is already broken. Visits are easy to buy from traffic exchanges and click services. A unique person who decides to start their own link is much harder to fake. So the board ignores visits and counts one thing: a unique friend completed Get my link from your /r/ URL.
What is a credit?

What is not a credit?
- They opened the page and left.
- You copied the link and never sent it.

How does this starve bots?
Each design choice removes a reason to cheat. Cash prizes attract farms, so there is no cash. Email walls attract throwaway inboxes, so there is no email wall. Visit counters attract traffic exchanges, so there is no visit counter on the board. The prize is a 7-day homepage banner for a real website, which a farm has little use for. Do visits matter at all?
Visits to your own website from a Site Drop are real and worth measuring in your analytics. They are just not how rank is decided. If you want to see which messages bring clicks, tag your links with the UTM builder.
How do I get a real credit this week?

Do visits to my own site count for anything?
They do not affect rank, but they are real visitors to your site and worth tracking.
