How to claim the 7-day homepage banner
Direct answer
The prize is a 7-day homepage banner for your website. There is no cash. To claim it you must be this week's #1 racer who is not the site operator, with at least 3 unique friends who opened your link and tapped Get my link.
What is the prize?
The banner is a large spot on the viralrefer.app homepage that shows your website for 7 days. It is recognition and visibility, nothing more. There is no cash, no Cash App, no gift card and no guaranteed income. Features are not transferable.
Two smaller prizes sit below it. Two verified friends let you add a short text line and website on the homepage for the rest of the week. Ranks #2 and #3 with a site on file can appear in the Challenger strip. The full ladder is in the Site Drop guide.
Who qualifies?
- You are #1 on the live board this UTC week.
- You have at least 3 verified friends this week.
- You are not the site operator. The house can rank but cannot take prizes. See the operator cannot win.
- You are 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live. No purchase is needed.
How do I claim the banner, step by step?
- Tap Get my referral link and paste your website, so the banner has a real destination.
- Send the link to people who know you. Copying it is not sending it.
- Get three unique friends to open it and tap Get my link before Monday 00:00 UTC.
- When you are #1 with 3 or more friends, tap the Claim control on the homepage before the week ends.
A valid claim has no owner review and no approval step. The operator may hide a banner that is abusive or unsafe.
What timing rules do people miss?
If you do not claim before Monday 00:00 UTC, that week's banner is gone. It does not roll over. Once claimed, the banner stays up for 7 days, even into the next week. The week clock converts the reset to your time zone, and the weekly reset guide explains what resets.
Can you buy the banner?
No, not as a contest prize. There is a separate, labeled Featured Partner slot that costs $29 for 7 days. Buying it does not make you #1 and does not count as a friend. The difference is spelled out in Featured Partner vs the free race.
Why is there no cash prize?
Cash prizes attract farms and throwaway accounts. A banner for a real website is only useful to someone with a real website, which keeps the contest pointed at real people. That design choice is explained in why visits don't count.
