Self-taps do not count

No. Opening or tapping your own ViralRefer link never counts, no matter how you do it. Incognito windows, a second phone, a VPN or another browser are still you, not a unique friend. Only a different real person tapping Get my link is a credit.

Guide

What does the Self-tap checker do?

Almost everyone tries tapping their own link once to see what happens. This checker lets you toggle the common tricks so you can see the verdict without wasting effort, then send your link to someone else instead.

How do I use it?

Tap any trick on the list.
Read the verdict, which never changes.
Close your own tab.
Send your link to a different real person.

What is an example?

You open your /r/ link in a private window on your laptop and tap Get my link. Nothing changes on the board. Your sister opens it on her phone and taps, and you gain one credit.

Key terms

Verified friend: A unique person who opened your /r/ link and tapped Get my link this UTC week.
UTC week: Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday 00:00 UTC, when the board resets.
