What does pasting a website do?
The Site Drop slot asks for a website because every prize on the ladder shows one. When you paste a real URL, a Just entered chip can show on the homepage for about 15 minutes. After that, your site only appears again when you earn a rung with real friends.
We say this plainly because it is easy to misread. Pasting is not racing. Links with no website are not shown as site chips, and idle links are not advertised.
What URL should I paste?
- Paste the page you actually want people to see, usually your homepage.
- Use the full address with https://.
- Avoid link shorteners. People want to see where a link goes.
- Avoid pages that need a login, or pages that redirect several times.
